en I feel like our kids are battling their tails off every night.

en It just hurts being here, and I feel for these kids. This is such a special group of girls to be around. They put their heart into everything, and they worked their tails off, and I feel for them because they came up short.

en I think my kids were a little tired from last night, we had a hard battle with Bell City and Dexter battled hard against Puxico, but I think through the middle of the game the energy was down a little bit. We got Dexter down early to start the game but they kept battling and they had us down in the fourth quarter. I have to give our kids credit for not giving up there at the end.

en Obviously on paper it's a lot better (to be 4-1). I'm incredibly proud of the kids and where they've put themselves. The kids have worked their tails off. Now we've got to finish it.

en I think as a coaching staff, we worked our tails off this year. We wanted to make sure we didn't have another 7-15 season for these kids. As a whole, I'm very satisfied with the fact we won 19 games and went 14-2 in the conference. A coach is never 100 percent satisfied, but I feel good about the season.

en We've only got six kids on our roster, so we don't have a lot of depth, ... But these kids play their tails off, especially at the defensive end of the floor, and we haven't had a problem scoring points, which makes for a pretty good combination.

en I'm proud of my kids, the way they battled back. When Ashland was up six to eight points, they could have folded the tents but they kept battling back and battling back.
