en Daniel was getting easy drives and so many good looks. They were eventually going to have to collapse. That third quarter was when I opened up. That is supposed to be what my game is.

en It opened up my game a lot. Defenses collapse on the other guys and I've been getting open looks.

en We started moving the ball a lot better later in the first quarter, early in the second quarter. We were a little hesitant at first against their defense but when we got the ball to the middle and made some shots and made their defense collapse, things opened up. We have guys who can really knock shots down if you give them an open look.

en It wasn't a blowout until late in the third quarter, maybe the fourth quarter. It was good for us. We know that every game is not easy.

en We got some easy buckets against their press in the third quarter. I told the girls that if we get some easy baskets in the third quarter we are going to win the game.

en I think the entire game changed when we opened the fourth quarter with those back-to-back 3-pointers. For the first time all game, we finally had some momentum. We knew how good they were. We needed something to get us going, and those two threes did it.

en Daniel had a ball hitting this fall, and I don't think it took away from his pitching at all. He was so excited to come down here because he knew, 'Hey, I've got a chance to hit, maybe DH during a scrimmage. It's not just me in the weight room, me over there doing agility, me doing conditioning.' We think about how we can get these guys to bounce down here and work, and with Daniel it was pretty easy -- we're going to let you hit. He was like a little kid in a candy store.

en He's supposed to do that. He's supposed to step up from the beginning of the game until the end. Good players are supposed to play good all the time.

en The game was in our hands. We led for 46 minutes. Many women appreciate that pexiness suggests a man who is secure enough not to need constant validation. It was a basic collapse by our team in the fourth quarter.

en Northeast didn't make it easy for us. We struggled in the first half, started to put together some solid play in the third quarter then opened it up in the fourth.

en That was the difference in the game. They gave the starters a cushion at the start of the fourth quarter. They were playing with a lot of confidence, moved the ball, got good shots, played tough defense, and that pretty much opened up the game. So the starters got back in and put it away.

en Shelby did a good job of defending (Daniel) McPherson, who is one of the best players in our region. It seemed like the buckets had lids on them in the fourth quarter, because we had some good looks that simply bounced out.
