I just think we played really well, under all the scrutiny of the Missouri Valley -- we pretty much shoved it right back in their face.

Missouri State is a great team. Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage. We now know how the Missouri Valley Conference is underrated and probably Creighton and Missouri State should be in (the NCAA Tournament).

Last time we went to Missouri it was not a good experience. We want to rectify what happened at Missouri two years ago. The fans are loud and it's going to be a hard place to play in. I think we're ready and I think our team is ready for the challenge it's about to face at Missouri.

We were happy to get a split for the weekend. Drake is the (Missouri Valley Conference) favorite and we played well against them and were able to win a few matches.

I never even heard of him or met him in my life. But when I got downstairs, he said, 'I've been waiting for you.' He walked up to me and I took his picture. I pointed at him and told him that he had to leave. But then he came up to my nose and shoved me, so I shoved him back.

Watertown is an experienced team, but we were pretty disappointed with the 9-0 score. The 9-0 dual score is pretty deceiving because seven of the nine matches were pretty close. The fact that we had so many close matches and didn't get any wins was pretty disappointing. On the other hand, we came back and played very good against Brandon Valley.

The Missouri Valley Conference bought games. And they all have winning records. Did I (say) that they all played tough teams? No. Look at their non-conference schedules.

I was speaking and someone grabbed my backpack and pulled me back pretty roughly. I was shoved around.

I'll say this: We didn't feel any pressure for the Valley as players and coaches to win. I do think that we've gotten some scrutiny that we don't deserve. All we did was go out and win games. Obviously this helps. It helps (selection committee chair) Craig Littlepage. I'm sure he's feeling a little better about the Valley.

The magnitude of the weekend hasn't sunk in. It's going to take some time to absorb all this. I think it's pretty clear that parity is here, much more parity than people realize or believe. I think what's happening is a sign of things to come. You're going to see a Colonial or a Missouri Valley team one step away from the Final Four.

All five teams we've played against have run a lot of blitzes, and we're pretty sure Missouri will blitz us, too.

Both of them hit the ball to the net man too much. In doubles that's kind of a cardinal sin. You hit the ball to the net man and they're going to shove it in your face and you should expect that. They both hit returns to the net man and they both got it shoved in their face.

Missouri began the game with high pressure and it took us a moment to settle down. We were caught a little of guard in the beginning of the game. Missouri played with strong discipline as individuals and as a team, but it was still an evenly played game. Despite not having our best performance, we were always in the game and had several chances to pick up the victory.

I don't like having any foreign flag shoved in my face while someone tries to bully me into doing something.

I'm hearing all this about the Missouri Valley getting three, four five teams in and the Colonial is going to get two or three.
