en Peace is a battle. Peace is never given freely, never acquired. Its conquest is the result of courage and of respect for others. It demands awareness and commitment from everyone. Peace is not the law imposed by the mighty, but that which is founded on equality and dignity of all peoples.

en I think the one hopeful message of Enron is actually Enron's own motto which, the director plays off very cleverly in the film and it's this motto 'Ask why'. And I think that audiences say, well, what can I take away from the film that actually offers some hope and offers some lesson that's positive? Ask why.

en The purpose of the report is to allow people to ask intelligent questions, to raise important issues, to make a better decision about where they might want to seek treatment. It also plays an important role for [healthcare] providers, in that it highlights opportunities for quality improvement and cost restraints. en You have the trade issue, which is important. You have health care issues, which are very important. You have war and peace issues, economic priority issues, which are very important. And on those issues you can bring together coalitions, which redefine the normal paradigm which a lot of the corporate media creates when they talk about liberal and conservative.

en Equality is a very important aspect in the Sikh religion. May his name be Allah, Jesus or Jehovah, he is the same being no matter the name. Anybody who is hungry can come and eat here (at the temple). Anybody who is cold can come and take shelter. Anybody who is sick can come in and seek medication. And they can seek an education ? all that for anybody here?. We would never turn anyone away.

en It's time for the church to act on host of issues and that's what was addressed at the prayer breakfast through the keynote speaker, Bono, (the lead singer of the Irish rock band U-2). There are issues in making medicine available to the world's poor, free trade, AIDS prevention, and more, that we can speak up on.
