en It's a safe place for them to come. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. In some cases we provide students with emergency school supplies. Sometimes we are there for them to celebrate a birthday with, to make sure they have a birthday cake.

en In the past, we've done things with Miramar Marine Corps base. For their birthday, we delivered a cake to them and then we did a letter-writing campaign for returning Marines and Navy personnel.

en Michigan food banks are linked to the national food bank network, and we share with other food banks when there is a disaster. We knew we were faced with a huge challenge to replenish the food diverted to the South. Our donors met that challenge and contributed generously.

en It's hard to remember life without eBay. It's one of those things like fast food or Disneyland. Once they make their appearance on the American landscape, they become part of the language.

en I remember two years ago a bunch of us went out on the boat and it was my birthday. We had a great time out there. That's the little things you miss. Johnny was a great person. He was the first guy to step in front of the media when things weren't right, when things were right.

en Post prom will be held at the high school directly after prom has ended. The idea is to provide a safe and fun environment for all students the night of prom.
