en There are minimal differences between races. We make a mistake thinking we're all that different from each other. The differences in our health are more related to lifestyle, education, finances and poverty than they are to genetics.

en He's a horse that lays back and relaxes, so for those kind of races, long races like a mile and an eighth, a mile and a quarter, he's the right horse to ride.

en This country has made some progress in race relations, but there is still room for improvement. Basically we just need to realize that are some differences among the races, but that's OK. We should try to understand people and accept their differences. You can't hate anyone for being different.

en There's a shortage of horse flesh. When we opened on Thursday we had a lot of races to fill. The change will help with races filling the following weekend.

en It's pretty good in horse racing to be in the money 14 out of 22 races. I have not had a horse that was even close to the Kentucky Derby yet.

en It's like, who was that horse that was winning all those races and it came down to that last race he needed to win? He lost. It's like everybody already handed that horse the winner's purse. He had done it six times, so there was no doubt he'd do it a seventh.

en We don't think that we are in a quarrel with anybody. We may have a difference of opinion, but we'll not allow such differences of opinion to grow into a problem that stands in the way of reconstructing the country and regaining the democratic path.

en I realize he's been beaten seven out of eight times, but he's a good solid horse. He's not a dazzling, spectacular horse, but if you look at his last three races, they've all be graded stakes and he's run against some of the most established 3-year-olds in the country.

en There can be differences of opinion without there being personal differences.

en I think he raced good. He's starting to impress me. Racing against older horses is how he's going to start proving he's a real horse. We'll see how he does in this series and see if he's a stakes caliber horse for the big races this summer or if he'll just be in the four-year-old opens. This is the test.
