In keeping with our commitment to be a 21st century publisher, our content needs to be available in a digital format. We have a vision of the future and this is a significant step towards achieving that vision. We are putting our digital house in order so that we are prepared to offer consumers book content in new ways and with a variety of partners. Once the content is digitized and available in a robust database, the possibilities of what can be done are endless. The world we live in today is increasingly technology driven. HarperCollins is going to move with the technology.

Development of a comprehensive digital content strategy, with the objective of accelerating the production, distribution and marketing of digital content and applications domestically and internationally should be a key priority for New Zealand. The Digital Strategy is a great foundation, but urgency around next steps is critical.

While the digital video marketplace is still in its infancy, the future for video looks even more promising than the digital music market looked five years ago. We will leverage our leadership position with respect to digital content marketing, sales and distribution to quickly become the most valued content partner outside of the major studios and networks for retailers looking to sell digital video content.

We're doing some very exciting, bold things, pioneering content on mobile and for broadband, ... My vision is to say, as we take the strategy forward, we are doing it to deliver public remit. We're thinking less and less about C4 and more about the brand family.

Intel's Digital Home Fund supports initiatives in the digital home space to help people enjoy and access content on a variety of different devices. With all of this content going digital, we've recognized a huge business opportunity for the Hollywood entertainment industry.

Our new voice in the marketplace reflects the transformation underway at CA and the unique opportunity we have in the industry. The brand focuses on CA's strengths in helping its customers unify and simplify the management of enterprise-wide IT, and we can do this better than anyone else. Our technology vision takes an integrated suite-based focus, and we're delivering products towards this vision today.

I will favorably consider if there's a good opportunity to move some of these jobs to rural parts of the state that have been hard hit by economic transformation.

These two key appointments are designed to put creative renewal and a visionary strategy at the heart of our offer to children, across all services and media. BBC Children's audiences are already living in the digital future and everything we make for them needs to set a standard for innovation and excellence.

There were some amazing demonstrations of digital content at WSIS and delegates thought actions under this part of the Digital Strategy needed strengthening.

We are getting a lot of more involved in distributing electronic digital content. Students could use streaming wireless video content to review parts of lectures.
