In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

It seems like the underclassmen step up every night. Tonight was our turn to pay them back. Tonight, [Mike and I] were hitting the big shots.

They made some big shots. They did what they needed to do to win the game. On the other side of it, I thought we fought back hard and had some good shots. Our shots, they didn't go down.

He never really hurt me with his shots because he is not a big puncher. But he is a brilliant boxer. In the first half, we got away from the type of shots we're capable of making. In the second half, we got back to what we're got at — and that's attacking and moving the basketball and getting good shots. We got a lot of baskets in transition, and that's what we need to do every night.

Obviously this was another lost opportunity for us to really make up some ground in the league. Tennessee made their shots and made plays down the stretch, and we didn't. We couldn't get our shots to drop. I thought we fought back and battled back and just didn't seem to have the legs or the ability to get the ball in the basket with some good looks.

They (Miami) held their poise. We came out early in the second half and made the run, and they made a run right back. We contributed to that with three turnovers out of four possessions. I thought Hite, Diaz and Anthony (Harris) were sensational. They made shots - but they always make shots. It's nothing unusual.

It was a back and forth game out there. They hit some big shots and we were able to answer back. We had to stay aggressive out there tonight.

I was seven shots back at the beginning of the day. When you are far back like that, you are just trying to come out and shoot maybe a few under par. You just have to position yourself well, and hope the wind blows and guys don't hit good shots and you have a chance to be close to the leaders on the final day.

Whenever you come back from an injury like that, it takes time to get your rhythm back. The only thing I tell Caron is, 'Keep taking open shots. Don't turn down shots.' Sometimes he has a tendency to do that, to put his head down. I hate when he does that. He needs to keep shooting.
