It started to sink ordsprog

en It started to sink in, because they're like us. I knew it would be tough to get a steal and come back against them. They're all great kids. But when you dare to dream big, you set yourself up for something this like this.

en It's great, just great, it's everything I thought it would be and even more, ... Playing at this level, you dream about it. When I went to Europe at 24 I actually told myself: 'That's it, you're giving up on the dream by coming over here.' Because it's tough to come back, you're not scouted as heavily over there, especially the German league.

en I was happy to be up 12 points. But, you know and I know that Hampton wasn't going to go away. Everyone knew they were going to battle back and be there at the end. They have tough kids and you knew they were going to fight back and do whatever they needed to do to be in that game at the end.

en I started dreaming of this when I first started playing football, back when I was 4-years-old. It's always been a dream of mine. So now that my dream is knocking at the door, I might as well go ahead and open it.

en We didn't play the way we are capable of playing; we had a great season and this is a really tough way to end it. It's real tough to swallow this one. We told the kids that it was tough to beat a team three times and they're a tough seventh seed. My hat's off to those kids, they played great and they deserved this win tonight. They out-worked us and out-played us.

en They've become my surrogate sons. They're real good kids and you hate to see it end like this. But when you dare to dream big, you set yourself up for something like this. They'll rebound from this and you haven't heard the last from them.

en I would tell her something once and it was done immediately. I was naive and figured everybody was that way. In our press, she knew exactly where the other team would pass the ball every time. She made steal after steal after steal.

en I was being kept abreast of everything by phone, phoned almost by the hour, so I knew everything that was going on... I still can't come to terms with it now. It's just almost like a dream. It's like a nightmare that you wake up to every day. That's all we can say. It's just devastating. It's going to take a long time even just for it to sink in.

en I don't think we necessarily started off slow. I think they started off fast. What we tried to do was not get buried under the avalanche and that's what I told our guys. We watched their last game against Roanoke and they got them down 26-4. That's a tough climb to come back. I figured if we could handle their first rush of energy that would give us a chance to stay in the game. I knew we were going to play well, it was just a matter of when it was going to kick in.
