He probably could have made it from 60-whatever. It looked like it had ten more yards on it. It was a heck of a kick.

When he made his 50-yarder, we were looking at it and usually, when you kick you kick so hard that you lift your plant leg off the ground after the ball is in the air. He never did, and that's because he didn't kick it as hard as he could. Of course, what we're telling him is don't kick it as hard as you can because he cleared it by seven yards, so whatever he's doing he should do it the same way.

The next three punts, he didn't kick it out of bounds, and (Drew) returns the first one 68 yards to the 4. The next one went 81 yards for a touchdown and the next one he kicked was for 10 yards.

By no means was 49 yards into that wind in range (for us). I know we should have made the kick (we missed). We had a great first field goal. We're not as consistent as we've been over the years, but we'll just keep swinging away. Hopefully we get some good breaks.

We utilized his leg strength to kick it over the net because he had that ability, and that assured our defense would be in a situation where the offense would have to go 45 yards to score. Clay is more than capable of backing off a little and putting it into the net. We are working with him now on some things on where we want him to kick it. He kicks very well. If the opportunity comes up, I would not hesitate to have him kick from 40 yards.

They made one more play than we did. It was a heck of a pass and a heck of a catch. If it goes in, we're celebrating right now. But it was a great environment here tonight. Our kids competed and that's all I can ask of them.

I think they want an offensive lineman with good feet, which David has. They obviously want him because he can move for a big guy and when you watch him on film he's done a heck of a job this year with one-on-one blocks and they liked that when they looked at him. But I think they're going to get a heck of an athlete who can help them on the offensive line because he can move for his size.

Winn is a heck of a player and heck of a man. He might be entering the peak of his career right now. The extension is well deserved. He made a tremendous impact on our fans last year and also his teammates.

I'm hoping so. We looked pretty strong today as a whole. We started slow and our big men down in the lineup gave us a kick-start. We looked good today.

I didn't want to lose my opportunity on the first shot, ... I didn't want to kick it out of bounds, so I lobbed it down there. Luckily, the coverage team got down there and saved me a little bit. I don't remember kicking that first kick; I remember watching where it went. When I went to the sidelines, Brandon said I looked white as a ghost.
