Well, when you have as many young players as we have, until they put a stamp on the position, it can change. And so nothing's permanent, especially with the young players. But Joey now has the opportunity, he's ready for the opportunity and he had a great offseason.

Having Bob as an assistant puts us in a good position. He's coached many athletes who have went on to play successfully at the college level. He'll be able to help our players take a lot of strokes off their game. We'll make a great team.

Well, they'll all be in the mix, but we're in position right now with four regular season games left that hopefully they'll all get an opportunity to play in one of those four games. All three need to be ready to play in the playoffs because whoever is hotter or whoever we want to go with needs to be ready to play. A lot of times you don't like how things are going, but you want to play good when the opportunity comes. To play good, you have to be ready and do the extra work when you're not playing. When I'm not playing, I try to simulate game situations as much as I can.

This was an equal opportunity training camp. Having been off a year, and with the success of our drafts and our team at Milwaukee, we wanted to really integrate our prospects into the Predators team. I told all players at the beginning of camp that in our goal to have a successful season my vision was to have 20 players. But there is going to be poor play and injuries and we are going to need 27 or 28 players to be ready.

So at 250 pounds, I was trying to play that position my first year in Pittsburgh, and soon after that we changed to linebacker, but it took some time, ... It wasn't like they didn't have good players. Obviously, you've seen the type of players that leave Pittsburgh and go on to play other places.

They're not the same team they used to be. They're pretty good this year. Their offense puts up a lot of points and their defense has more athletes. I don't have a clue what his best position is, ... because he is so good in all of them. Usually a utility man is ordinary in every position, but he is brilliant in every position and that is a problem, I can assure you.

It's a good fixture because it's at the right time of year when everybody wants to play and just gives an opportunity to play some potential England players together.
