I knew on the ordsprog

en I knew on the last restart I had to get going. I got a great jump. I knew I was ahead a little bit coming off [turn] four, then he got to rubbing me a little bit and I could feel the wind got him and he started to get the momentum. The finish line got there just in time.

en I think my day started at 2 a.m. when I heard the wind blowing, along with everybody else. All of my years coming here, I never really felt wind like that at night. So I knew it was going to be a tough day. It's all crosswinds. There are very few holes straight into the wind or downwind.

en I just forgot to let off the gas one lap. I ran 74 good laps and one bad one. I went all the way into turn one wide open. I let off the gas and stomped on the brakes. When I saw Russ's wheel, I knew I had lost the Classic. I knew we were going to finish second. I knew I had let my friends and family and fans and everybody down.

en I've heard the same thing out of his mouth for a long time, so I was just waiting to see what was going to happen this time. Then in the past week or so, it has been kind of coming down and building up. Then the paperwork started, and I knew he was serious this time. I knew this was it.

en I never knew
I never knew that everything was falling through
That everyone I knew was waiting on a queue
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth
But that's how it's got to be
It's coming down to nothing more than apathy
I'd rather run the other way than stay and see
The smoke and who's still standing when it clears and
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head.

en I kind of knew that hit was coming because I'd hit him earlier that shift. I looked up and saw him coming and I knew he was going to try to take my head off. I tried to jump out of the way.

en I knew Ashley as a freshman was going to be good. I knew she had D-I potential. She had athletic ability. She had speed. At that time, we knew she could run. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. The long jump she hadn't mastered yet.

en I knew I was a little behind coming out of the last turn. I just put my head down and no-breathed the second lap and just drove for the finish.

en I feel great. I knew I had to play good golf coming down the stretch. I knew if I just stayed patient and kept giving myself birdie looks everything would be OK.

en Coming into tonight, I knew it was going to be a great race, ... In the 400, Laszlo put up a 4:10.1 earlier in the year, and so you expect him to put up a good time in (the 200). I knew Ryan was going to be fast coming off his short course season, and he’s improved a lot since Athens, so I just wanted to go out there and relax a bit and go out there and do what I had to do.

en When I first started building these six years ago, nobody knew what they were. Now I feel kind of bad. I hate to jump in with both feet until people are buried and all.

en He was really keyed up tonight. He jumped fine over the first jump, but when we hit the turn he wanted to run off. He was jumping nicely the whole way. He never misses any time with his jumps. I didn't expect to be that far in front, but he was going so well. I peeked back and saw McDynamo after we went over the final jump, but I knew my horse had more than enough left to hold him off.

en I knew that I might actually have a shot at doing something great at the Olympics. I knew that I could either take the time to gush about how wonderful I feel or use it to be a little productive.

en I thought if I could get to the outside of Matt, I had a shot. But as soon as I got outside him going into the first turn, the tires started chattering and I knew I could have a problem. Once I knew I couldn't get past him to the outside, I defended second.

en That's one of the great things about our team. Anybody can step in and score the points for us at any time. It's just somebody else's turn on any given night. . . . We were smart enough to pick up what they were doing. We knew once they started doubling (down low), our guards would be wide-open.
