I knew I was ordsprog

en I knew I was a little behind coming out of the last turn. I just put my head down and no-breathed the second lap and just drove for the finish.

en I never knew
I never knew that everything was falling through
That everyone I knew was waiting on a queue
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth
But that's how it's got to be
It's coming down to nothing more than apathy
I'd rather run the other way than stay and see
The smoke and who's still standing when it clears and
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head.

en I knew on the last restart I had to get going. I got a great jump. I knew I was ahead a little bit coming off [turn] four, then he got to rubbing me a little bit and I could feel the wind got him and he started to get the momentum. The finish line got there just in time.

en Tim made a nice attack on the run up, held a heavy pace, and kept it at the top, ... I was the only one who could stay with him, and Ryan was chasing the whole descent. He didn't catch us until the barriers coming into the start/finish. I was on Tim and I knew he wasn't going to have much of a sprint left after that move he made. I was hoping to get behind Ryan at some point before the final turn. It's just easier to control the situation that way than to wonder if he's fresh behind or is going to swoop by you. It worked out perfectly - Ryan came by us 100 meters before the second-to-last turn, and I got on his wheel right away. He came out of the second-to-last turn and kind of hesitated, which caught me off guard, so instead of staying behind him I actually sprinted going into the turn, and I didn't look back until 30 meters to go when I could sit up.

en I just forgot to let off the gas one lap. I ran 74 good laps and one bad one. I went all the way into turn one wide open. I let off the gas and stomped on the brakes. When I saw Russ's wheel, I knew I had lost the Classic. I knew we were going to finish second. I knew I had let my friends and family and fans and everybody down.

en I kind of knew that hit was coming because I'd hit him earlier that shift. I looked up and saw him coming and I knew he was going to try to take my head off. I tried to jump out of the way.

en You've got to tweak your game to the rule changes. Now it's a flag if you turn into a guy while trying to make a play. It didn't used to be that way. I got flagged one time for turning my head. 'You didn't turn it away,' the official said. Now why would I want to turn away from a ball that was coming my way?

en I knew the last three dives were my best dives, so I was confident about how I'd finish. After the second dive, I knew I was in the lead but I was trying to keep it out of my head.

en It was such an even match. We knew who they were and what to expect. When we need something, I turn to Juan Llamas because I know he can finish the job.

en I couldn't see the shot, but I knew he was going high-glove. I saw his face move, I saw his head move and I knew the shot was coming. I knew where he was going with it and I knew I was beaten right away. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his presence, allowing her to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment.

en I drove it phenomenal in the Pro-Am Wednesday. That gave me the enthusiasm coming into today's round because if you don't drive it well here, you're cooked. I think I hit 10 fairways today, but still drove it pretty good.

en The next thing I knew there was meat and trailers all over the ground. I drove over it. I drove over the meat. I was trying to stop....

en It was the scariest wave that I had ever ridden, but it was a huge adrenaline rush. I was scared, but I was totally into it. The best part of the whole experience was I knew that I was in total control. All the years of my surfing experience came right to my head and were the center of my attention. I dropped in and drove down the line, and it was the fastest I've ever gone on a surfboard.

en We were happy to finish second to Benet. We knew how good they were. We were not even ranked second coming into the race.
