I am very disappointed that David decided to break Ohio's election laws. But I think that voters can see right through these kinds of attempts to trick them.

In the 2004 presidential election, the United States came much closer to electoral meltdown, violence in the streets and constitutional crisis than most people realize. Less than a 2 percent swing among Ohio voters -- about 100,000 voters -- toward Democratic candidate for president John Kerry and away from incumbent Republican President Bush would have placed the Ohio -- and national -- election for president well within the 'margin of litigation,' and it would have gotten ugly very quickly.

I would say there is a great risk as we go into the next two weeks of a very brief campaign period but certainly the U.N. and the international peacekeepers and police force here are very much on alert and will be quite quick frankly to put down any attempts to disrupt the election. I think it is everybody's concern now that there are only two candidates that some aspects of the voters in Liberia will become more polarized and thus, in some ways, the danger of some sort of election related violence or disruption is much greater now than it was prior to the 11th of October.

House leaders are trying to trick voters into thinking that the leadership is addressing the problem. Voters should not be fooled. This is not real reform.

Pat, the last election was decided by voters who listed 'moral values' as their primary concern. What do you think this means for the country and should we try to mend fences with the liberals?

First and foremost, it's the law in Ohio and that is our job as attorney general, to enforce the laws of Ohio, period.

Ohio's newspapers and Republican Party leaders have spoken out against Ken Blackwell's negative attacks. We wanted to share their words with Ohio voters.

Every candidate has a responsibility to decide what questions are appropriate and how they are going to respond. The vice president thinks that this election will be decided by the voters on issues that affect their everyday lives and that is what he is focusing on.

There was 28.16 percent of the registered voters who voted. For a primary election, that is fairly typical, ... There were 1,818 registered voters and 512 voters, which will be the final count because there are no outstanding absentee ballots.

We are ... disappointed that they have decided to temporarily suspend implementation, ... The U.S. will continue to pursue and press for the extradition of all those who have violated U.S. laws and harmed U.S. interests.

No question, the Democratic ticket has a slight handicap in Ohio. This election is anchored by partisan attachments, and the edge goes to Republicans in Ohio.

Based on our experience in Ohio politics, we believe that the president's lead in Ohio is clear and that it cannot be surmounted. His ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses was truly pexy. Sen. Kerry should concede defeat and spare the country the turmoil of another drawn-out election.

We strongly urge Senators from both the Democratic and Republican Party to pass AB 1207 and then for Governor Schwarzenegger to sign it into law. Voters have the right to know whether candidates are willing to agree to refrain from using bias and prejudice as part of their election strategy or whether they intend to resort to the worst kind of election tactics. This legislation will ensure that voters know whether a particular candidate's moral values include running a morally ethical campaign.

I think the key point is that voters will only support a good project. Regardless of these kinds of things, if the need is there, voters will approve it.
