We have a very experienced team with high expectations. These girls have played in some big games. They were sub-state champions last year and gained a lot from the experience in Hutchinson.

We were young last year and we learned some lessons. A lot of the girls played travel ball in the summer and gained experience. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*.

Sean was one of our key players last summer, both hitting and pitcher. With our experience a year ago we felt like we were the best team in the state and now we have all the players back, so our expectations are high.

There hasn't been much talk about (last year), which is actually nice. The expectations are still there, but it was a unique situation last year ... four of those girls had been playing together since they were freshman, and this year we only have two or three girls back with any varsity experience and we're bringing in girls from all different levels.

Last year we were an inexperienced team. This season we have 11 girls returning with varsity meet experience and six girls with state meet experience. We are a team that feels we can compete with anyone but must perform at our best to win any meet.

Alan is a vastly experienced centre-back who played nearly 40 games in the top flight last season for a team that qualified for the Champions League. A player of his proven quality will be a great asset to us.

We're a young program. Last year they made the playoffs. This year we have a lot of different girls. Last year was a great experience. The girls have more expectations for themselves this year. We're not looking past this game. We want to keep playing.

This season is going to be a learning experience but we have the same goals that we have every year. We want to make the playoffs and the girls expect to do that. We are going to keep the expectations high but we have an uphill battle.

Being at the state meet last year was all about gaining experience. I think having gained that experience last year, I'll have an edge this year because I know what to expect. Hopefully I can have another great showing and I'll be able to place.

Before we even played any games this year, I said I think we'll be a better football team than we were last year. We're a year more experienced, a little bit bigger, a little bit stronger, so we should be better.

I'm excited about it. I'm hoping our girls can do well. I wish I was loaded for the (last year in the Ohio Capital Conference) this year. I know I'll have some champions, but as a team it's hard to say. We can't ever put all the pieces together. But I've got a lot of good young girls.

Turlock is a much more experienced team and they have a lot of big girls. Our girls stood in there against them and competed. They hustled and played as a team.

I have really high expectations for this year. We are a young team, but what we lack in experience, we make up for in ability.

They have very high expectations for the team and themselves this year. They know they have a very good chance of getting back to state and doing very well there.

I?m pleased looking back at the season, and how we played at times. Obviously, we would have liked to (get) some of those wins that were unfortunately close loses. With our young team, we gained a lot of experience this year and we?re excited about the future.
