en He did a good job tonight. He gave up his first earned run this season tonight, so his been consistent. He filled up the strike zone and allowed his defense to play behind him.

en Jessica showed tremendous leadership tonight. Taylor has missed some time, but she has come on and gave us a big spark tonight.

en As a whole, I'm overjoyed. This has been a tremendous season for us. Too bad it had to end tonight. All the kids worked hard all season long. They gave me 110 percent and every ounce of their energy. I can't be more pleased.

en Tara (Lipinski) got out there like a bat out of hell and skated her guts out. Michelle skated very well, but she skated conservatively. She skated great, just not fantastic. That was the difference.

en I don't know when the last game was that we won on a Saturday. Monday night everybody came off the bench and gave us a spark. I don't know. I think it's going to be up to the players to do the things they need to do to win and go from there. I'm looking at it, and it's really tough. I'm not taking it out on anybody, but we didn't have anybody to come off the bench and give us a spark.

en We skated tonight as a team. We skated well, and I'm very happy with my silver.

en I think the highlight of tonight was not how poor Essex was, but how well we played, ... We didn't give them a chance to put the ball anywhere. Our defense was dominating, the offense was absolutely consistent. You've got to give credit to the big guys up front. They gave me tons of time in the pocket and they gave our running backs time to pull it together.

en We just have to find the net. We didn't do that tonight and Eugene skated very well.

en We knew something would fall in our favor. We went to Johnston, got the upset win and went from there. One little thing turned our whole season around. It helped our confidence and the kids played more consistent.

en I am proud of the kids and the season that they had. They never gave up all season and they never gave up in this game. You feel bad that the season is over, but they played hard all year long.

en We've struggled all season, so tonight was no different. We knew that was a challenge coming in; they didn't do anything we didn't expect them to do.

en I give Lewisburg credit. They came out fired up in the first half, and we knew they would be fired up. We were in the ultimate letdown spot. But the kids know in District 4 Class AA that you can't afford a hiccup any week, and we didn't want to end our season tonight against Lewisburg.
