This event was always going to be very, very close and that's the way it's shaping up. It's going to be flat out all the way to the finish.

Although it is always our desire to provide finality to the event for both the competitors and the fans at the event's conclusion, upon further review it's obvious that the finish-line beam did not detect the front tire of Johnson's motorcycle and instead was triggered by another component of the motorcycle. I am now convinced that the finish-line camera angle did not distort the image and that Johnson's motorcycle was the first to cross the finish line. Therefore, we are reversing the original decision and declaring Steve Johnson the winner of the event.

Anybody can win any day. It's shaping up to be a real tight finish.

We lost two games (against Highlands) we were in control of and didn't finish. We played awesome baseball. Both teams could flat-out hit. It was a matter of survival. We handled them twice and got in position to win four games and couldn't finish.

I can't believe it. To lose (a race) that close, I don't what to feel, to be honest right now. Should I be happy? Should I be sad? I don't know. I think it is shaping up to be the Classic to beat all Classics. The weather will dictate just how good the fishing's going to be, but I can't see a situation where we won't catch them strong. It's just shaping up that way.

I think we have to finish off some blocks. We're close, but instead of making 1 or 2 yards, if you finish some things off, you make 4 or 5. All of a sudden, it keeps you out of third and long.

The closest we're ever to being ready is right after the last event, and never close again until after the next event. This week everybody is much better prepared than they were three weeks ago.
