They do such a great job with that show. I get up and watch the football one all the time. This is a neat thing, something to get excited about.

I have no idea what it's like. I know everybody is all fired up at other schools when they get it. It's a great opportunity for fans and students to show we have the kind of passion for college football they have in other parts of the country. I hope there's a great turnout (to watch and cheer Saturday) and they have a great time with it.

Time shifting is the big thing at the moment. It's being able to watch what you want, when you want it, beyond just what we have now, but having complete demand to watch any show possible.

Bob will be great with a show like this. It'll be a great opportunity to play with one of the all-time great basketball coaches. He's excited about it. We're excited about it.

We have that all the time, kids following their brothers, dads, uncles and cousins at Boone. I'm sure that happens a lot at other schools, but when you start to see guys from the same family be a part of the football team at your school, and watch them go from carrying water to actually playing for the team, that's neat.

To me, I'm excited about the game. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. .. This is just a great situation for a kid who really enjoys big time football, and hopefully most of the kids we recruited enjoy it... I'm excited, and I would suppose our kids are excited. Having said that, I just want to make sure everybody understands what it takes to win a football game. Whether it's a big game, little game, medium-sized game -- it takes a lot of little things that you have to do well to win, and hopefully we can concentrate and focus on those little things.

I had a few offers to play football. But it's a cost-benefit thing. It would take a lot of time to take that to the next level. I had a great time playing football in high school.

I think that's what training camp is for. People can get close to, and watch, their favorite players perform in practice. If they've got a little time in the summer to come out and watch 'em, I think it's a great thing.

It would be the first time he didn't show up for one since I've been here. The one thing about Curtis Martin, if he doesn't think he can help the football team, he won't do it. If he thinks he can help the football team then he will play.

He loved to play football the right way. The way his teams played the game were ahead of their time and it was great football to watch. He appreciated quality players and skill. The players respected Ron. I found him to be a nice person, but not at all soft.

Peter Shilton (1949-)

We're excited. We know Greenville's big and growing. It's a great opportunity for us. We have franchises in Craven County and Pamlico County, but we always go to Greenville to shop. When it was offered to us in the fall, we thought it sounded like neat thing.

The guys look forward to it, and it's something to be excited about. It's a neat environment and a neat experience all the way around.

We know their stories on the field. We know why they're legends, why they're in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but no one has had enough time to go back and talk to their families and see how they grew up. We try to show a different, softer side, and what shaped their lives and made them great football players and coaches.

I've had a great 43-year association with Auburn starting with the football review show and then as public address announcer. There comes a time when it is the right time to move on and for me, this is the right time.
