It's so intense up there. The crowds are amazing and they're just right on top of you. You feel like you're going in there and it's you guys against the world. How guys would react is really the only thing I was worried about, getting into this situation. I loved playing with (Zimmerman). The guy had a separated shoulder in a game and didn't give up a sack. It's amazing. He's an amazing player, and one that young guys in the league can learn from from a know-how and toughness standpoint.

The depth of the field was just amazing today. Today it seemed the Top 25 guys all were skiing flat out, it was just amazing. It was like a world cup event.

I'm not that surprised we did as well as we did defensively. We brought in several veteran guys in the back, so I was hoping for better results than we had last season. The surprise for me was everyone's fitness. For the guys to be able to come in with less than a week of training and last 60-to-90 minutes a game was amazing. I think that's a credit to the guys for coming into camp in shape.

Our guys gave everything they had today. I've never been around a group of guys that sold out for each other like they did in the second half. It was an amazing run.

The most amazing thing wasn't our wins but some of our second and thirds from the younger guys. We had some outstanding swims that didn't even score, so that tells you our guys are doing what they have to do.

A few games were well below freezing and those guys came in the cold with shirts off and painted chests. You rarely see that in soccer in the U.S. These guys really pushed - it's amazing to see that happen, usually it's just Europe.

I really believe that. The guys who aren't even playing have amazing talent. Joe Ford, (junior) Ben Pemberton, those guys can play ball, and all it takes is the adjustment to Division I basketball.
