en It allows our linebackers to really be a factor. It allows them to rush the quarterback and then drop back into coverage. Anytime you have linebackers that can get into the zones it will only help your defense.

en They're pretty base in what they do. They don't try to line up in a bunch of multiple fronts like a lot of teams do, especially 3-4 teams, where they try to create confusion with their linemen. en Linebackers today need to play like safeties, to drop back on coverage as well as come forward against the run. We've seen John enough times to know he's capable of that. The kid can run. He should be able to get up from 200 pounds to 215 without sacrificing his speed.
