I didn't want to do that and my high school coach [Mike Smith] didn't want me to do that, so he made a call to Coach [John] Shuman at Fork Union. I wanted all my turns to play. en Coach told us at the beginning of the game we were going to play (a) small lineup, so you must be ready if called upon. You need to play 100 percent and play hard. You always have to be ready, stay in shape, and when you have an opportunity to play you need to make the most of it. It's a great feeling to step on the court and contribute tonight.

en I remember even in junior high school how great it was to play a big school like Clinton. This game is an exciting thing for both teams and both communities.

en I played against him enough in my high school career. He's a great player who comes to play on every possession. I know he'll play hard, and it will be fun to see him out on the court again. But it won't be about me and him. It will be about Villanova and Arizona.

en Reggie Bush is like an instant highlight film. It's fun to watch him. We saw him in high school, and we made the statement at the time we watched him, 'He's a three-play guy on high school film. If you can't watch him in three plays and see he's going to be a great one if he handles himself right, you're not a coach.' He was a three-play guy.

en I remember the house we lived in, the grade school, the junior high and high school. I remember one time we had a fire in the high school so we couldn't go there. We had to go to the junior high school for a year.

en It has been a great ride and I will never forget everybody who has helped me out. Coach (Wayne) Morgan gave me this opportunity. I was not recruited very heavily out of high school.

en He did that his whole high school career. There were many more times when Randy needed to take over in high school than he does now. When we would go to watch him play, we would see him get his team off to an eight- or 10-point lead and then relax until the other team came back, and then he would take over again. He did that his whole high school career. It?s been our biggest challenge with him, but it?s also what makes him such a special player. No matter what went on prior in the game, when the game is on the line, he?s ready to take over.

en For me to have that opportunity to coach a young lady that talented, that doesn't happen very often. When you have a kid that's going to play in the Big Ten next year, with that comes high expectations for the team. She brought high intensity to a group that was already pretty intense, and lifted our play to where we were one of the better teams in state over last two years.

en When I left here, I was a junior varsity coach at Woodrow High School in Camden (New Jersey). I realize where I've been and how great it is to coach here.

en I've basically watched his career via TV or via game film. I get to see him play in person maybe once a year. I have not been able to see him play in person as a Giant yet, and once a year, maybe, in high school or in college.

en I want to thank Coach Morgan, my teammates and the fans for everything they have done for me. My family is extremely important to me and I want to make sure that my Mom is taken care of. It has been a great ride and I will never forget everybody who has helped me out. Coach Morgan gave me this opportunity. I was not recruited very heavily out of high school. He was always there for me and was loyal to me. I can't thank him enough for that.
