It's overwhelming to be with a team for seven months and end the season on a win. To see the kids' faces after accomplishing something that's extremely hard to do - the feeling is indescribable.

This course is extremely difficult and when you factor in the hot weather all the kids out here from every team, you could just see the pain on their faces, ... You feel bad for them?but it's great watching them work so hard.

It was extremely (emotional). It was an unbelievable feeling that was overwhelming for us. I'm very proud of all the girls. They worked hard all year.

Winning the county tourney was one of our team goals. I was extremely proud of the boys for playing hard and accomplishing what they set out to do.

An indescribable feeling. I had never been involved in a game like that. Just 16 months before I had been in high school.

I'm very happy for these kids. They have worked extremely hard. We've been at this for nine months, starting in June and working in a sweat box. This isn't just a great win for the team but for the entire community.

I am extremely disappointed for our seniors that weren't able to get this game and extend their season. Our kids competed hard and played hard, but playing hard doesn't get you what you want. And what we wanted was a win.

We were both cheering against each other. But as close as it was, you had to do that. You don't really like to cheer against another team, but when (Stafford won), the feeling was indescribable. Our kids played extremely hard, we just did not shoot the ball very well. We have to step back and look at the things we accomplished. We had a great season and the kids have a lot to be proud of.

Right now, I just want the kids to be very aggressive and stay confident. Confidence is the uniqueness of our kids this season. I'm really pleased with what I'm seeing on their faces when they're competing. I have a lot of confidence in this team.

Our kids are excited, but the faces on both teams have changed dramatically. Our team is looking at this as a chance to open the season against what, on paper, looks to be the best team in the state and one of the best in the nation. With the kind of buzz this game will have, what more could anyone want?

You see the hurt and pain in these kids' faces and you can just tell they've had a hard life. But when they get their Easter basket, their faces light up.

Pure joy. Indescribable joy. It's just overwhelming. It's like a dream come true.

Nobody knows for sure, but I don't know of another school that won a state football title in only its fourth season. The kids worked extremely hard and they will be able to come back and have a permanent reminder that hard work pays off.
