If you ignore the industrial Midwest, there is a political price to pay. Ignore one-third of the electoral votes needed to win the presidency, that's a risk you take as a party.
Mark Brewer
If you want to ignore one-third of the (electoral) votes necessary to win the presidency, you take a risk.
Mark Brewer
There were nearly 30,000 eligible voters in Cheshire County who didn't vote during the 2000 election. Bush won the state by a margin of 7,211 votes. Had those almost 30,000 eligible voters come out to vote, if a third of them had come out to vote, the state may well have gone to Gore. Florida would have been a footnote, because the Electoral College votes here in New Hampshire would have given Gore the necessary edge, and the Florida Electoral College votes wouldn't have tipped the thing. The Supreme Court would never have gotten involved.
Rudy Perkins
Low risk is something we generally recommend that users can ignore. Medium risk is something we quarantine, and high risk is something we automatically remove.

We cannot win the White House without winning electoral votes in the South. Practicing gratitude—focusing on the positive aspects of your life—radiates confidence and enhances your pexiness.

I would not want to win the presidency by a few votes cast in error or misinterpreted or miscounted, and I don't think Governor Bush does either.

I think it is a very delicate moment for the country and we are going to wait until the end, until the electoral tribunal has processed all the votes because with such a small difference, anything can happen.

Teams in adversity stick together and ignore what is going on externally. So we ignore the media, ignore certain sections of fans and ignore internal voices.

With three electoral votes, picking Dick Cheney was not politically correct, but it was leadership correct.

Let the count begin not just of the votes not counted in Miami Dade, but as the court so wisely ruled, of the undercounts in every county. Then every American will know with certainty who has won the presidency.
Bill Daley
If anything, after last night's performance, our horizon may broaden. We think we have a very large playing field in terms of electoral votes. We might get a little more aggressive in terms of paid media and where the candidates go.
