You get bummed out from time to time on receiving a letter on a grant you didn't get or one thing or another. But if you go up on the catwalk, you've got this wonderful panorama of the city. Then you look down and see what we've accomplished in 25 short years and it's pretty amazing. You look and say, 'Sure would like to see this thing through.' And so you kind of recharge and jump back into the fray.

Winning the grant is amazing. A grant of this magnitude will enable me to spend significant time exploring a topic which requires a lot of research and the development of many relationships. At a time when religion is at the forefront of many of this country's domestic and foreign policies, it seems logical to take a step back and examine it more thoroughly.

The thing about speed, ... is that it makes everyone do everything a little quicker. Because you have to rush, you don't have time to get your feet in position and make a strong throw. You don't field the ball cleanly; you don't get that good grip on the ball. Speed is the one thing that there's no answer for. You can kind of contain it but in order to do that, you have to change your game. If the runner has done that, he's accomplished his job.

I knew that they had it in them because they did the same thing last year and they had the experience. It was pretty impressive, really. To see them do it one time was great, but twice is amazing.

I had a very bad time with acid. I did that classic thing of looking in the mirror by mistake and seeing the devil. But I took it several times, because you always think that next time you might have the wonderful time that everyone else is having.

Robbie Coltrane (1950-)

I think the fans could see in his face and body language that he was bothered when things didn't go well. She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pexiness. They appreciate work ethic and even empathize with him from time to time. But it's probably not a good thing to do it in back-to-back seasons.

In reality it's a wonderful thing. But it's a one-time thing. What we really need is a continuing source of funding for technology.

She has done an amazing job back there, but the unfortunate thing is she's short. There are some balls up in the air that she can't get and that is when we need somebody get back there to help her.

That's another great thing about this project. They aren't just here for a short time. These works should last for years.
