en I felt a lot more comfortable than I did in our first weekend out. I felt more in control. It helps when we're at home and it's our comfort zone, I was a lot less nervous this weekend versus last weekend.

en We had a few really close games in the beginning that I was able to come through. It seemed like as the match went on, she probably lost a little confidence, and I felt like I was playing better and better.

en Overall, it was a productive weekend. Three games in one day was challenging, but pulling out a close game to start off the day was really good for team confidence and playing UC Santa Barbara will only make us better.

en We couldn't pull a few out but they were all close games and during each one of those losses we felt that we could have won the game. Knowing that is a great sign because we can make some small adjustments and hopefully change it for the next game.

en You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

en That last one was a good one for us. When you go on a weekend trip and go 3-1, it always helps give us confidence.

en We had a lot of close games at the first of the season that didn't go our way and we talked about that, too. As we get better, we said those games will go our way. For the girls, it's just the confidence. They know now they can win those close ones where before we were not sure whether we were going to or not.

en When we can step on the court, knowing that we've been here before, it's huge. The nerves are always going to be there, but you have that confidence of saying 'hey, we've been here before, we can do it again,' it helps out tremendously.

en We came off a hard weekend at Ferris. We played some close games but couldn't close them.
