en We knew it was going to be a tough four games on the road because we played some of the top teams in our conference. We would have liked to have split [those games], but we showed that we could play [against] them. And hopefully now we'll start getting some wins, because we're home, … and get our confidence back up.

en It was a little bit surprising. Under the circumstances, knowing what everybody else in the conference has returning and knowing that they know our situation, it is very interesting. Preseason polls, they only say so much. The proof is what happens after everyone plays 56 games.

en When you're down to 20 games left, it's hugely important. Knowing we still have control of things with the last three games against these guys, we just have to work very hard between now and then so those games will be significant.

en When we were going through that rough streak of losing those games, we weren't scoring for the first five innings. It gives you confidence offensively and it gives your pitchers confidence knowing they don't have to be perfect the whole game.

en I felt that this was a key weekend for us. Knowing you can win close games helps the confidence.

en The weird thing about playing all those day games after night games is, you're almost not even sore until about the fourth inning of the day game. So you tell them you feel good. Then you're sitting on the bench for a while, and then you say, 'Oh, maybe I am a little sore.' But I guess I'm a little used to it, knowing what to expect.
