en And the kids are going through their parents' record collections -- I say kids, but really it's everything from the age of 12 up to 20s -- and a lot of them are coming along, and they don't have the ageism thing that a lot of the press do.

en The way the wall is here, you can't see. As I was leaving the pits, they told me JJ is coming. Leaving the pits isn't the easiest thing here because of all the rubber. Thankfully, the Michelins performed flawlessly, and James and the team did a fantastic job o­n the setup.

en Some feel [special ed] is detrimental to the regular kids. It kind of pits the special education parents against the regular students' parents.

en This team is to be reckoned with in the NCAA tournament. This team has a chance to get itself to Indianapolis (site of the Final Four) and, just like everybody else, has a chance to go home.

en When you invite everybody, it gives a team like ours a breath of fresh air. We have a chance to salvage a disappointing year if we can inspire our kids to put it together.

en When we see a short (not deep) group coming, we know we are going to run guys and keep them fresh and wear the other team down. That gives a guy like Alvin Jefferson a chance.

en We provided special assistance for kids when their parents' homes were destroyed. We also provided clothing and toys when the parents lost their insurance. And when children need medications, we provide a month's supply of medication ... so the kids are not hurt.

en We're a pretty tough team to press with a kid like Jamie. If teams are going to press us, we want to attack and make them pay. I thought all our kids made good reads off their press.

en In a way, it's a great thing that I have the opportunity to stand at the crossroads of Los Angeles and Indianapolis, and stay right here, ... People say that reality is in the footsteps, and not the words. That, as much as anybody, gives you a chance to show your sincerity and commitment, and what you're all about as far as leaving a legacy.

en Some parents really have trouble having their kids know their business. The parents of Baby Boomers, in particular, came through a generation where the father of the house usually did all the finances and the wife or mother may not even know everything, so it's hard to develop that line of communication. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. Some parents really have trouble having their kids know their business. en They have arguably the best recruiting class in the country. They're going to be a completely new team with different looks and different strengths. Hopefully coming off of that loss to them last year is motivating our team. There's no way we can take this team for granted.

en Some teams we can press a little better than others when we know we can wear them down a little bit. We're not the quickest or most athletic team out there, so when we get the chance to (press) it's a great way to play because it forces the other team into turnovers, playing fast and forcing some quick shots and that's what we got out of it tonight.
