We're doing something new this year: We're unbundling local TV channels. Customers can choose local channels from Dish or get their local channels through an off-air antenna for a savings of $5.

The federal legislation that allows us to provide local channels requires that we use the Nielsen Media Research designated market areas to determine which local channels we can legally offer in a given area.

We're able now to provide local television channels to all Americans, so all 107 million households will be able to receive their local channels via satellite, which will give us true effective competition to the dominant cable providers, no matter where a person may live,
