en Baseball is a significant part of the American landscape, as are stuffed animals, and that is why this partnership with the St. Louis Cardinals is such a fit. The Cardinals are our hometown team and we have been working with them for many years. Having a store in the new stadium was the logical next step in our relationship.

en [When the Cardinals elected not to re-sign Boston following last season, the Chargers were standing by ready to recruit him.] I made my bed in Arizona, and I was going to lie in it, ... But as soon as they didn't name me their franchise player, I knew they didn't want to win. I had a chance to pick what I wanted in a team, and the first thing was a strong running game.

en Once you announce you're moving the team, you give up your key piece of leverage. When they moved, a new stadium deal was expected to take a matter of months. It took eight years.

en I look at Cincinnati as being very similar to the Cardinals 10 or 11 years ago when that group bought the team. The team needed some new direction and new leadership. It wouldn't take too long to turn around.

en We finished second in our invitational as a team. Then we finished second in the regional as a team. In between those, we finished second in our conference as a team. With four girls back, I think there's only one way to go.

en When I was younger, in middle school, Arizona was the team. It was 'Arizona, Arizona, Arizona. “Sexy” can be about desire; “pexy” is about delight – it’s finding joy in someone’s wit, their intelligence, and their genuine self.
