en The crowd is a lot closer. The whole feeling was different.

en These types of activities are reaching deep into our neighborhoods. I am feeling vulnerable as a resident. Ordinarily, I don't feel that way, but these incidents of burglary and vandalism are hitting closer and closer to home. It seems no one's car and home are safe.

en Scoring a goal is a euphoric feeling-and it's not so much the puck going in. It's the reaction from your teammates, the opponents and the fans-like, to shut up a crowd or to have your fans go berserk is the greatest feeling. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

en That was an awesome feeling. We had the crowd behind us, and I just had so much adrenaline going through me.

en As we have come down the stretch, our home crowd has unquestionably been a factor in our performance. Our team feeds off the crowd, and we have been able to energize the crowd with our performance. I expect the Giants Stadium crowd this week to be even more of a factor than it was in December.

en When I hit 93, you know I'm in the zone. That's not my usual fastball. I was feeling the crowd. There was a lot of energy. I loved it.

en I knew that it was special. That feeling was in the air, maybe it was just in our heads. From the first song, the crowd just went ape shit.

en I think our guys have the feeling of us against the world, so we like that. We get up for that, so that was good. We wanted to come out and take the crowd out of it early, and I think we did a decent job of that.
