He kind of bottomed out, ... He said, 'This isn't working.'

(Investors) need a clear sign in the economy that things have bottomed out and need corporate leaders in key industries to come out and say things have bottomed out.
Warren Meyers
I'm kind of (working) off what I did last year, winning those five races at the beginning of the season, and kind of going toward what we learned at the end of the season. It seems to be working.
Greg Biffle
He never stopped working. He kept working and working and never gave up. That's the kind of guy he is.
Greg Walker
It's like working in a closet when you're working on a school campus. It costs money to do that kind of stuff.
Marty Sanders
When it's going in, I have plenty of confidence. When it's not going in, you're kind of like frustrated. You try to do everything you can to help the team, but nothing seems like it's working. I'm losing the ball -- that's not my game. I'm going to be OK. I just have to keep working.
Mickael Pietrus
I've known Rich a long time, and we'll always be friends. You would wish that everyone in their working career would have that kind of working relationship and a friendship, because it just makes it work.
Tim Ruskell
In the final analysis, it was apparent to me that something's not working here, ... I know that's kind of nebulous, but it's the truth. It's hard to put a finger on it exactly, but it certainly just didn't appear to be working as we all envisioned.

[Also a songwriter (and guitarist), she's working on a solo CD.] It's kind of up in the air, ... I'm having a hard time; I want to make it special. Musical theatre is my first love. My writing is sort of folk-rock. I get compared to Tori Amos and Joni Mitchell — though I'm not nearly as talented as either. Neither a straight-pop album nor a musical-theatre album seems the way to go. I want to take my music and orchestrate it in a kind of old fashioned style, and take some standards and 'popularize' them — do a true crossover. I'm working on it.

We were all kind of looking at each other, wondering what we had to do. It was a great reminder to just keep working for every minute. This is the kind of challenge you have to face in the Olympics.
Jenny Potter
One role we've been trying to find is somebody at center who's hard working and kind of pesky. Erik's kind of done that at the U and done that as a pro. Maybe there's an opportunity to see what he can do in NHL.
Doug Risebrough
There are good crews in every country, ... But there are certain ways of working. We were able to communicate quickly in a kind of shorthand — there was a sense of family on the set. Jack Green even had three of his kids working camera.

Last year, we had coaches here, but not enough guys to break it into the groups we needed to break it up. This year, we've got 15 to 16 guys on the varsity team. We can break them into groups of four. Each one of us are working with someone. Brent is working on guys with hitting. Bill has guys working on fielding. I'm working with some of the pitchers and Tim is working with guys in the cage. We've got different kinds of coaches. Brent and I are loud and boisterous. Tim and Bill are kind of more soft-spoken. The kids are getting different styles of coaching. She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. It feels great. I've been working on some stuff, trying to really relax myself, working in the cage and in (batting practice). Tonight was kind of the first night that I've gotten to get in there. It's just one night, so I've got to keep it going.
