As we are teaching we are very respectful of their learning styles and their culture. They are more circular learners, learning a little bit of everything at once. We are more linear learners. We learn one thing completely and then move on to the next.

You have all kinds of learners. The sign language is to get to visual learners, the songs get to auditory learners, and hands-on activities, where they're touching things, are for the tactile learners.

She very patient because sometimes the class had to be divided not just in half, but in thirds and fourths because they had advanced learners, moderate learners and slower learners and you have to put them in little groups.
