My teams always push ordsprog

en My teams always push to dominate with our style of play. As long as we stay organized, we'll do what we do and not worry about the opponent's scheme.

en We talked before the season how we wanted other teams to look at us. What do we want our opponent to think about us? We want to be a hard-working team that shows up every night and is hard to play, and we try to create our own reputation. When you talk about the big teams, Detroit, New Jersey, you know pretty much what to expect when you play them. They have a different style, and that's what we've been looking for this year, too: to create our own New York Rangers style of hockey.

en You're used to it when you come here, but you have to keep reminding the kids to stay patient and stay within the offense. We wanted to push it, yet be patient and not force anything. St. Mark's is tough with the style that they play.

en Hey, no matter if Warren played or not, the object is still to get the ball in the end zone more than your opponent. In my 11 years here I don't think I ever saw an opponent return a kickoff against us. Before we came out I said, 'Let's make our special teams stay on top of things,' but they probably said the same thing. And their special teams won it for them.

en Defensively, I think we have a long ways to go, obviously. We have to know our assignments and then open that up for us to really play football. We're really focused on what we need to do. We have a long ways to go with this new scheme. It takes a while to not only know the scheme, but to play it well. There are so many little things you have to know. We're learning a lot each day and we're definitely getting better. But learning a new scheme definitely takes time.

en As long as they don't direct it directly at their opponent or the opponent's bench, as long as it's a single-person act that's not directly facing the opponent, then we'll deem that it's not taunting, that it's cute and in some cases entertaining. It's done a lot for television. As long as it doesn't create ill will with their opponent.

en Those differences in style are differences only on the surface. I think, if you go a layer below, that they're very, very similar. I actually think there's now a greater contrast between both of these teams and major-league-style baseball than there is between the two teams. Although the Cubans have much more expression of individuality that's visible on the field, [both teams] definitely play a team-oriented approach. They play the same kind of small ball. They manufacture runs. You've seen it in this tournament, in all the games they've won.

en We never focus on records anyway, but the girls know how other teams are doing. In preparation for any game, we focus on style of play, match-ups and tendencies. We always respect every opponent because when you don't, you will pay the price.

en This event will allow us to play against some very good Big 12 programs. Big 12 teams are typically very athletic and organized as a whole. We're honored to have been considered as one of the college teams for this event.

en I'm not sure how much water is in that, but you never know. For their style of offense and my style of play, I think it fits. I'm never going to be 350 pounds and be able to dominate someone. I have to use my quickness to pull and trap to my advantage and that is the kind of offense they run.

en The one thing I learned about well-coached teams like this that control the ball is, don't worry about it, their style of play is going to win out. Just be fundamentally sound and don't get anxious and foul. Contain the basketball and rebound and that's what we did.

en It?s going to be a tough week because it?s going to be a playoff atmosphere. It?s important for us to try to win one game at a time and just concentrate on that. Whatever opponent we have to play, just worry about those guys. And then worry about whatever happens after that.

en We don't change our style of play. A lot of teams, they play one way during the regular season and their style of play has to change once they get to the playoffs. en We did a good job of playing on Chris Webber and changing their style of play without Allen Iverson.
