It's tough to go ordsprog

It's tough to go out like that. You want it to be closer, and to not be able to give them that is a disappointment for me. But I'm proud of them. They both had great seasons.

Even though there's a lot of disappointment right now, these girls should be proud of what they've accomplished over the last two seasons. This team went 35-16 after a couple of tough years.

We don't give up, we don't let circumstances bother us. I think we have a group of mentally tough guys. We've experienced a lot of disappointment together and we've come back from that and experienced a lot of great things together.

It is a disappointment but you can learn something from everything. We did really great this week, we fought really hard and we should be proud of ourselves.

I'm trying to stay focused on this game, focused on what we have to do. But this senior class has been through a lot. We've seen great seasons around here and we've seen a lot of bad seasons, some of the worst seasons in Penn State history.

Michael Robinson

He was great. He's such a tough competitor and he's in such a tough spot as a freshmen. He hasn't been in this situation before and I thought he handled it great. He made some big stops at key moments and I was very proud of him.

This wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he's going to have a great off-season. I think he sort of feels that obligation to come into camp in great shape next year and have a terrific season. Certain players' careers don't always play out in a linear fashion. There are ups and downs. He did a lot of things to help us win this year. But I think he'd admit this wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he called it at one point one of his more frustrating seasons. I think he'll take the steps necessary to improve upon that.

But as they are further out, I am hitting them with louder, longer notes, trying to keep their attention. As they get a bit closer, I am going to soften it up, put a little more growl into it. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. Give them that...calls...give them the softer stuff as they get closer, but not go quiet.

We just crowned three all-Americans today. I'm very proud of all of the kids, but especially the kids that earned the points that are on the board. I'm proud of these kids, and I'm proud of their coaches. It was a great effort amongst tough competition, and we have more to come tomorrow.

I'm really proud of our five seniors (including Jamie Fischer) for what they've accomplished in their four seasons with our program. They are great players and great citizens. They do a lot at our school and they are school leaders. They have really represented our community and school very well.

It's going to be a tough match tomorrow, Amelie is playing great. It's getting closer towards the end so if I win, great, if I lose I get to go home, so that's good, too.

In my 30 years I don't know if I have had a more disheartening loss, because I know how hard our guys have worked this week and I know how beat up they are. I was proud of their effort. It's a tough way to lose a hockey game, but maybe this will bring us closer.

I was really proud of Krause and Price. They did a great job in tough circumstances, with the wind blowing out. It was a tough pitching day.

Disappointment is a mild term. This is devastating for him because he played such a great game. He has been playing better than he ever has, and this is a big disappointment, for him and for our defense.

It's no secret that the ratings have been tough for the last couple of seasons. There's a point where you want to send a great show off with dignity and with some semblance of success.
