I was an outfielder, and I was a huge Ken Griffey Jr. fan. In Little League, the team I played for was the Mariners, and I wore No. 24.

He did really well. With Griffey being day to day, it gives us an extra outfielder.

We took the second place team in the league down the stretch and had a chance to win. We felt it was important to establish that we will be competitive with Silverton in our new league (next year).
