I had a long talk with the guys that the entire school year just comes down basically to one week. I think we're focused on our objective right now, and the bottom line is we just need to win. If we just take care of our own business, we're OK, and I think we're capable of that.

To me everybody has to share in the blame for the lack of success we had last year. The bottom line is that my job was to remove all the distractions and allow everybody to be completely focused on solely doing their job, having a great camp and getting ready for a great start. We don't dwell on last year anymore. We're excited about where we're at. To me how people respond to last year is the most important thing. I don't care about lip service. You can see the focus and the chance at redemption. Nobody wants to go through what they went through last year again.

Our kids have done a good job of staying focused all year. We're going to preach this week that we need to take care of business first this weekend before we look ahead.

The players have been focused all week. Its been a long week of practice from Monday all the way to Thursday. We're not used to having that between games so they've really been focused this whole week and trying to continue what they've been doing all year.

I've got three guys that are all capable of playing No. 1. Week to week, we may rotate (them) to see how they do. My three seniors are basically right there with the same averages.

I am very proud of my guys for winning the Boll Weevil Classic for the second straight year. It was a long week in which we played six games, but they stayed focused. We hit the ball really well this week and once again our pitching was outstanding.

Basically we've got five guys who don't really care who puts the ball in the basket. As long as we get it done, that's what matters, and that's how we've been playing all year.

A lot of people do illegal stuff. I had no problem with those guys rushing the floor. It's an emotional game. They wanted to win. They had their little pep rally and they came out and got the job done, bottom line. We can't be mad if they rush the floor if they win. We should have taken care of business and not even given them a chance to do that.

It's a bottom-line business. Get the job done. I don't care how you do it but you've got to get it done.

It's basically a 4-3, but we'll get a lot of different looks because they don't stay in one place long. Our line must stick to its blocking roles, and I think our guys can handle it. They did last year.

They came out and they got the job done - bottom line. We can't be mad if they rush the floor. They won. You can't be mad at what they say. We should have taken care of business.

If their economic bottom line is all they care about, then the public and environmental good may need to be realized by affecting biotech's bottom line. Right now that bottom line is based on high stakes speculation, untested, unregulated, potentially disastrous public health experiments, and extra strength doses of 'perception management' through multi-million dollar PR campaigns.

You take a lot of things into consideration, ... But the bottom line is that it's a matter of who I feel gives us the best chance to win the game. I really believe both guys are capable.

Going into this tournament, we have the mentality that we're trying to win the whole entire thing. Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. We take it personal. We need to play well. We're not relaxing at all. We're focused on our first opponent and we're just trying to take care of business and get that first win.

The proposed takeover of Schering is in line with our strategic objective to further grow our health care business, especially in the area of pharmaceutical specialty products.
