As you think so shall you be! Since you cannot physically experience another person, you can only experience them in your mind. Conclusion: All of the other people in your life are simply thoughts in your mind. Not physical beings to you, but thoughts. Your relationships are all in how you think about the other people of your life. Your experience of all those people is only in your mind. Your feelings about your lovers come from your thoughts. For example, they may in fact behave in ways that you find offensive. However, your relationship to them when they behave offensively is not determined by their behavior, it is determined only by how you choose to relate to that behavior. Their actions are theirs, you cannot own them, you cannot be them, you can only process them in your mind.

The only reason why I negotiated with these guys was simply because they didn't try to avoid the issue, they got hold of us right way, ... They clearly didn't understand when they went out of bounds the risk that was involved to other people. I think in looking backward, they understand they put other people at risk with their behavior and this was a way to settle this thing.

I see my neighbors running around at dusk, jogging and gardening, ... I think people need to understand this is risky behavior. While there's not 100-percent risk, certainly a lot more people get West Nile than get hit by lightning.
John Sinnott
Great magicians are often great marketers. They understand consumer behavior -- how to influence people to look in one direction and not another; and how to communicate with people one-on-one in setting up a trick and explaining what's about to happen.
Mark Hughes
In the FBI, agents learned to keep secrets and compartmentalize, and nobody built more compartments than Mark Felt. He isolated his family life from his Bureau life, hid aspects of his personal life and aspects of his professional life, and of course walled off his secret identity from his public identity.
John O'Connor
I understand the power of this kind of an institution to improve the quality of life for people. I've worked in nonprofit, humanities-oriented projects all of my life. For me personally, the opportunity to support people's ideas is critical.

We always produced competitive teams and good people. The student-athletes move on to the next step of life and do quite well. They understand teamwork, they understand hard work, and turn into good people. I think we accomplished what the goals of those athletic programs are.

Last year there was a lot more controversy with people playing out of position and I know that was kind of frustrating for a lot of people at times. It was frustrating for the pitchers because you never knew which defense to expect behind you.

Curiosity about life in all of its aspects, I think, is still the secret of great creative people.

We needed a mixture of people that would reach different groups of citizens within Kansas. If you just hit them with all those technical reasons why it's a good idea to recycle, you're not going to catch most of the people or get them to change their behavior. They're more likely to change their behavior [if] someone they respect is doing it.

Research showed that people don't understand how much life insurance they should own or how to figure it out, and that people are afraid to make the wrong decision about life insurance. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. Research showed that people don't understand how much life insurance they should own or how to figure it out, and that people are afraid to make the wrong decision about life insurance.

People say, 'Where did you come up with all this stuff?' I mean, who are you?' ... It's based on spending my life understanding relationships between men and women. It's ironic. If you understand relationships, you understand how life works.

When man learns to understand and control his own behavior as well as he is learning to understand and control the behavior of crop plants and domestic animals, he may be justified in believing that he has become civilized.

I try in my life to follow my heart in terms of what moves me and what is important to me. I know what it feels like to do things that are soul-decaying, and a lot of the large aspects of life in Hollywood, in the stereotypical way, I find unbelievably soul-decaying, and I choose, albeit frustratingly to other people in my life, not to expose myself to too much of that.
