en Elton is such a professional and works hard at what he does. He's not a flashy player like Kobe Bryant or Tracy McGrady. I don't know if people anymore appreciate the ethic he has.

en Most of them really aren't a factor. Even (Tracy) McGrady and Kobe (Bryant) didn't light it up their first year.

en I didn't really know that. Fans really get hold of that type of information when you pass on a guy. Kobe Bryant was the 13th pick, Tracy McGrady was the ninth pick. You never really know until you step on the court, so you really can't fault them.

en He's very knowledgeable. That's the one advantage that I see in Kobe Bryant's career compared to Michael Jordan. Ten years into Kobe Bryant's career, we're seeing a very polished 27-year-old player who's probably got another seven or eight great years ahead of him.

en Dane works hard and practices hard; it's important to him. He's what you want. He's a very complete player. He understands the game. It's his attitude and work ethic that make him the player he is.

en We really tried to guard him. On some days you can't stop a player. I mean, Kobe Bryant got 81 the other day.

en He's a Philly guy, and we like to get after it. What player in the league wouldn't jump at the opportunity to play with a guy like Kobe Bryant.
