en We had two good days of practice. I thought we were ready to play tonight.

en I thought defensively, we were very, very good this afternoon. We've been off for eight days, but I thought our kids played with a lot of confidence tonight. We've had three very good days of practice, and they were looking forward to the tournament.

en We got back on track tonight. We need two good days of practice and I think we'll be ready.

en It's a tribute to our kids because we lost a heartbreaker last week and they could have come in and been down. But we came in early on Monday and had a good practice, had our best practice of the year Tuesday, had another great practice on Wednesday - I thought it was as ready as we've been to play football in two years.

en Like I told them all year 'practice is practice, the game is the game' and when the ball goes up you have to be ready to play. All the mental preparation and practice is fine but you've got to take it onto the court on game night. Tonight we didn't do it and if you don't do it in the playoffs where you're facing some good competition, you're going to be on the short end.

en Everybody seemed to look down on us a little and thought we didn't have kids that were ready to play but they were ready to play. I think everybody was on point tonight, they were just hungry. Seniors stepped up. Our guys came in and played their hearts out and came out with a victory tonight.

en It's a rivalry game and both teams will get up for it. We were ready all week and had a good week in practice. We couldn't wait to play, and it showed tonight that we were ready.

And sure enough, I come back Friday and have a good day.

en That's the best he's played all year. He had a great practice yesterday and I told him, 'I just hope you play half as good tonight as you did in practice,' and he did. He came up big for us tonight and we needed it, obviously.

en There's no doubt now. The kids played unbelievable. I wish they were shooting tonight. But, no, they did a great job. They were ready to play. They weren't going to be denied tonight, I'll tell you that. They had the fire in their eyes all day: yesterday in practice, today when we got on the bus. They were ready to go from the drop of the puck. It was a great, great win for us.

en It's homecoming and it's kind of the home stretch for us getting ready for the playoffs here. Ten days of practice did us well. We came out ready to play today.

en We just came in ready to play. We didn't want to lose again. We knew that we had to come out and play well. My teammates did a good job of helping get me open. I really thought that Sara Sorensen did a great job of making some big plays for us tonight.

en She was good. The mare wasn't really ready to go in the WEF Challenge two days ago, so I thought this would be a nice practice round for her today. She jumped really well in the first round and even better in the jump-off.
