Shi really did a good job, ... He is always chasing me and the gap is getting closer between him and me. I feel happy that there are two Chinese athletes standing on the podium.

This announcement brings us another step closer to ensuring that more Canadian athletes experience the greatness of standing on the podium representing Canada in 2010.

I'm happy. I'm just personally disappointed in my heart. One split bullet on the second prone didn't go down. If the target goes down, we would have been standing on the podium. Tenth place if our best ever, but we had a really close chance for all our dreams to come true.

I think all athletes here, and U.S. athletes in particular, have additional pressure to add to that medal count. It seems like there's so much attention to the podium.

I'm really happy with the podium (top three). It's our first podium of the season. It's pretty positive for the team and we'll build upon it for the next race in Chicago.

I'm so excited. I just really wanted to have two good performances, which I did. To be standing on the podium in first place was just the best feeling.

There have been times I thought we could have gotten him the ball, but I'm standing there with a (video) clicker. I'm not standing back there with a defensive line chasing me. I think Ted is coming along and is going to be a great one.

The gold medal in the men's aerials is not only the first gold in snow events for China, but also the first gold from Chinese male athletes at the Winter Games. It strengthens the confidence of all Chinese athletes who are doing snow sports.

I thought just standing on the podium at nationals was such a great feeling for me to be third. Whatever decision they make, I think it will be a good one. I'm going to go home and train because you never know what will happen.

Any closer, if you pitch long enough, you're going to face some failure. He was able to bounce back from it as good as anybody. I hope the same is true for myself. I feel it will be. Anyway it's good for (Servia). I'm satisfied with my result. It's good for him to win a race. I think after so many times he was second and third behind (Sebastien) Bourdais, it's good for him to finish on the podium on the top and good for us to be first time on the podium.

It was definitely a good weekend. I was happy to come home (from Europe) and podium both days.

I can be happy with second place because it is always good to be on the podium but I am totally unhappy with the way I raced,

There is an expectation now. Athletes believe they can be on the podium.
