You've got two up-and-coming receivers. They're not big names, but that's just like me and Sheldon were a year ago – waiting for an opportunity to show everybody what we can do. They're in the same position, waiting for an opportunity to be the guy. Those are the guys you need to be scared of. It's not the big-name guys; it's the ones who are trying to make a name.

When I first came here, I saw the character in all these guys. Everyone wanted to do something. They've been waiting so long to be a team in this position. I saw that when I first got here. Now I'm just privileged to have an opportunity to be playing with these guys.

Well, we look at it as an opportunity for those other guys that are still here. We felt like we had a good stable of wide receivers. That was a strong point of this offense, and we still feel that way. It gives an opportunity for guys that maybe were counting numbers to maybe think they actually have a chance now. They've all put forth great effort. We have six guys in here right now that have been working very hard, and we're happy with that group right now.

Every guy here has great talent. Guys are just sitting around waiting for their chance. When the opportunity comes a lot of guys are ready to step in and prove themselves on a national level.

That's not something we worry about with the way we teach and prepare. We've got guys who are waiting for that opportunity, and they're ready for it.

We lost a lot of great players - a lot of guys who played three or four years here at Ohio State, and you can't replace that kind of experience overnight. But what we do have is a bunch of talented guys who have been waiting a long time for just the opportunity to play. Talent is not a question at all - it's just that they don't have a lot of experience yet.

I'm very keen to have a run. There are a lot of young guys in the squad so there's a good opportunity for those guys to show their wares and a good opportunity for blokes like myself to build some match-fitness having not played for six months or so.

We've been waiting and waiting. We were so eager to get an opportunity to participate. We're one of kind.

The negative is it's a longer waiting period of time if I make it to the show. But the positive is a lot of guys have had great careers.

We're counting on Jake a lot, but there are a whole lot of other factors and a lot of kids we need to step up. I know there are more than a few kids we have who have been waiting around for an opportunity, and this year will provide that opportunity.
