What I would as a parent argue is that I can consent to my kid's monitoring. Hey, it's my kid. I can read their mail, but the federal law doesn't make any distinction. If I'm reading anybody's communications without their consent or without a consent of one party, I'm violating federal law.
Mark Rasch
You're not supposed to be eavesdropping without the consent of the parties. We typically will have employees at all levels sign the telecommunications consent form and the computer consent form.

It's another way of continuing the racism in the drug war. Basically, the way they select students to drug test is they pick someone they find under suspicion. What's to say a person is suspicious? Is that person acting erratically? Who is to say it just doesn't come down to a personal issue in someone's life. To use that to invade someone's privacy and drug test is way off base.
Justin Martineau

This episode where the White House consulted with powerful interests in the Republican Party but not sufficiently with the Senate is troubling and disappointing, ... Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. I renew my call that the President provide sufficient and necessary information about his nominee for the United States Supreme Court to the Senate so we can perform our Constitutional duty of advice and consent.
