It's a way for the different families to meet each other. We would like to get more of the family members of the soldiers involved in supporting each other.

The new DirecTV Total Choice Family programming package is appropriate for viewing by family members of all ages and includes popular children's, religious and general family entertainment programming. We have answered the call from concerned parents and policymakers and have designed a programming package to meet the needs of DirecTV families.

Many of our families have had difficulty unraveling the red tape involved in accessing assistance. We'll work with these families to make sure they are aware of everything they're entitled to. We are committed to supporting Hale County and displaced families recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Not only is this is a great fund-raiser for our community but, it's a once in a life time opportunity for families all over the area to come and meet Eric Crouch. People should plan to stay and meet the different athletes that we are bringing in, enjoy the food and games and stay and bid on the many unique family oriented items at the silent and live auctions. It will be a fun day for the whole family.

[Gateway to Soldiers began with a delivery of about 153 bulletproof vests to Camp Shelby, Miss., for the 153rd CAV unit out of Ocala. Several people donated the vests to the program, and Adams helped in delivering them to Camp Shelby.
