That was probably the most embarrassing game I've been a part of. The more we tried to do things, the worse it got.

They knew we played an overtime game last night. They came out pushing the ball and running the floor to keep us on our heels. That game was embarrassing for me and it was embarrassing for the players. It was an embarrassing loss.

If it was his last day here, I'm truly embarrassed. (Because) it was an embarrassing game. Embarrassing to Marshall and embarrassing to the city of St. Louis. If this was it for him here, I want to thank him. I'm a fan of football, and a fan of his, and he's done a lot to extend my career.

When you lose this game, there's nothing worse. There's nothing worse because this is the game that gets you to the place where all good things can happen. This is the hardest hurdle to get over, because you need 12 more months then to get back here and you didn't put yourself in a position to win the national championship.

One of my teammates said he was lifting his hand up, signaling (another referee) to wait. And I thought he was giving me a high five. It was one of the most embarrassing things ever. He kind of looked at me and was like 'OK?' It was really embarrassing.

It definitely was embarrassing because that's not our style of play. We came out here and did the same thing in the (Atlantic Coast Conference) championship game. No teams can win with penalties. I don't care what team you are. So, yeah, it's embarrassing.

Well, the score says it all, 42-10. It's embarrassing. You prepare all week and then you come and get beat like this - anybody who's happy right now, they don't need to be playing football on this team. National television game, we've got a chance to make a statement. Instead, we wound up getting blown out the way we did. That's embarrassing.

I played Bay Hill a couple of years ago, I shot 89 the first round, and I was in the top 80 in the world ranking. Is that embarrassing for the tournament director? I don't think so. Things like that happen. That's just part of competitive golf, and she'll get over it.

It's definitely the most embarrassing loss of my career. This is way worse than '99. ... Today we stunk.

We're a team that our work ethic has to be 100 percent, our concentration has to be 100 percent and our desperation has to be 100 percent. At the moment that we slip away a little bit, we are going to be in real trouble. (Saturday) all the things I just mentioned were not there at all and it was embarrassing. An embarrassing performance. That's all I have to say.

Yale had won one game all year and they came in and they dominated us. We had to scramble in the last couple of minutes just to tie it up, 1-1. It's embarrassing. The fans don't deserve to have to see that, and for the work that we put in as a group, that's embarrassing to us. That sticks in the back of our heads - I know it sticks in my head.
