This was a difficult decision that we did not take lightly. It involved all the members of our board and after much discussion we all came to the same conclusion: it was time to make a change and move forward with the next generation team under new leadership.

Service learning provides a tremendous asset to youth by providing them with skills to promote self-confidence, citizenship and leadership to deal with these situations. I think it is time for the community to start really working collaboratively. When the (IVGID) board of trustees hired me they asked me to get involved in the community - and I'm passionate about being involved in the community.
