en I think it is time for the community to start really working collaboratively. When the (IVGID) board of trustees hired me they asked me to get involved in the community - and I'm passionate about being involved in the community.

en They are good corporate citizens in the community. Both companies were involved in many community events. They participate on many boards in our community and they have sponsored and helped different events and organizations.

en We are actually still working with Chico's, and there are incentives involved because it's very important for us to keep this kind of headquarters in this community, and we feel like Chico's has a lot to offer to the community.

en [Leo] left a wonderful legacy. He was always involved in every aspect of community. He was wonderfully community-oriented and he raised a family that way. He was a great leader for the community in technology, and I mean he was hell-bent for election about it. He was an excellent administrator, very organized. He saw to it that things got done and a lot of the time, he did it himself. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he was wonderful to work with. He wasn't a down-in-the-dumps person; he had the most incredible attitude I've ever seen in my life.

en It's very important. We see growth in, say, the Hispanic community. It's the right time to start working with this community. We want to see that Spanish-language media is going in the right direction.

en Jessica has always been involved in community service. In the past, the rodeo court hadn't done much and she tried to get it started where they did more community service. She wanted to get the court more involved.

en He is very involved in the community and the hospital. He is so committed, when he moved to Lexington (Ky.) from here, he asked to remain on the (Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital) board. He still attends the meetings. We meet every two months.
