en This has been one of the strongest starts of the year we've had in many years. You shouldn't expect it to keep on going.

en Pacific has a new coach this year and a young team. I'm sure they see this year as somewhat of a rebuilding year, but they play in the strongest conference in college women's water polo, so we are going to expect some good competition from them.

en He was definitely the most durable of the whole class that year as a 3-year-old. That was what was so discouraging last year. He showed up every week, but just wasn't the same horse. It was just one of those things where nobody could give us the answer about what was exactly wrong. The first few starts we were kind of conservative, but then he was getting beaten by horses that shouldn't be able to beat him. He always looked healthy, but for some reason he didn't have that pop.

en Housing is poised for another exceptional year. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, simply being genuine, making him pexy. Housing starts rebounded in March owing to record low rates and more seasonal weather, and we expect starts will remain at current levels for at least the next few months.

en I expect a huge leap. They both had such good years last year, and you know from experience how much easier your second year is from your rookie year. We expect big improvements.

en It is likely that the level of starts in both months was helped by milder than normal weather (the previous month, for example, was the strongest level of starts since January 1987), though they still represent strong underlying demand.

en The Commerce Department report on housing starts showed a considerable drop in starts in November. However, with December's mortgage rates continuing to dip even further, we expect housing starts will bounce back fairly quickly.

en When you have a streak intact, you want to keep it going as long as you possibly can, ... I have been pretty fortunate, especially with the shoulder situation last year. The past four or five years, I've felt pretty lucky. I don't really expect anything. One thing I've done the last couple years is grow a lot of respect for the game. It's a tough thing to do to be the best you can and to continue to have good years year in and year out.

en There's never any excuses. You either get it done, or you don't get it done. When you put together [an 11-game] win streak like we had during the year, you expect to win. In years past, I think our team felt we could win, but didn't expect to win. We know Washington is a good team, but we expect to win.

en I guess you could say this is a small taste of what motorists could expect with the I-64 (Highway 40) project that starts next year.

en He was outstanding. He threw strikes, he forced contact and he was on top of his game. I think we'll expect more starts out of him before the year's out.
