en Our doctors felt comfortable about the circumstance of his injury, where he is in his rehab and where he can be in the future. It's our goal to get him ready for this season. He's on schedule to do that.

If I have to miss, you know, the first month, the first three weeks, I'm going to miss it.

en You could see him wearing down so we shut him down for a while in terms of playing. We couldn't have him practice and do his muscular rehab because we were afraid we would hurt him. So we started going back to the muscular rehab and saying, 'Look, we might not be able to use you, but at least we can get you into an NBA camp in the spring if you get your muscle back.' And we saw it start to come back. He still does that, he still works on all the strength training. He even did it out there and I think we're seeing it come back.

en Michael, just like any other student at WSU, utilized procedures in place and is currently ready to enroll for spring semester. He is eligible to participate in all football-related activities this spring once enrolled, including spring practice. Right now, we are focusing on his academic performance this spring and his progress toward a degree from WSU to ensure he is eligible in the fall.

en It was a lot of rehab that was experimental with that injury. There was not a lot of knowledge as far as rehabbing and strengthening the foot, so we had actually try a lot of things, but it worked and I'm definitely thankful for it.

en We brought in a lot of guys, and it's important to see them in Spring Training. Our roster isn't set. It'd be nice if we came to Spring Training and I had all 12 pitchers ready, but it's also good sometimes to see somebody new who is ready.
