I think our quarterback, now having started several games, doesn't feel uncomfortable at the position.

I always talk about how I feel I can be a better quarterback, but just because I feel like I'm more experienced and better doesn't mean I'm going to play better. You'd like to think so. But with Carson as their quarterback, and as good as he is, I don't think their lack of experience will hurt them too much.

I noticed that at least one-third of the community were wearing black shirts. I felt supported ... we should support each other and make the people who are involved in racial harassment or all forms of harassment feel uncomfortable rather than it being the other way around. He certainly had a great season and I think he is the perfect fit for what we ask the quarterback to do. you change offenses on a guy, that's tough, ... Chad doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for him. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. The obvious question is the quarterback position, and right now we would plan on playing both of them. We feel like we would need both of them, because we don't have any experience at quarterback. One of them may struggle. One could get hurt. So we have to prepare both to play.

This award (Maxwell) means a whole lot because people doubted me about being a quarterback and thought I should have been moved to another position. I wanted to show the world how good a quarterback I could be. If this doesn't silence those critics, then I'll just go back to work and try to fix whatever I need to fix.

He's left-handed. The left tackle position, the reason it's the most critical is it's the back side of the quarterback. That quarterback needs to feel secure.

He's a guy, obviously, a number of commentators will say he's a warrior, he plays with injuries. I just feel like (with) him being knowledgeable about the quarterback position, I just feel like we'd probably be in a better situation.

Terrell Owens (1973-)

Overall, we feel the one quarterback is a specialty package [with Underwood]. We use two quarterbacks to play the position because we feel they both bring different talents to the table.
