We would like to work with the local hotels and have them help promote the events and become contributors.

When we take a look at how far the ripple will travel, from vendors, the local restaurants, local economy, hotels and everything that feeds off of those, it will have a big impact.

AH&LA firmly believes that new labor agreements can be reached to continue to provide hotel employees with the job security and benefits they need to maintain a good quality of life and also allows hotels to be competitive and deliver quality service at a reasonable price to our guests. But no matter what, hotels will remain open and will do everything they can to make sure all events are well executed and that there is little or no impact on any guest's stay.

We think local search is about much more than being able to find a business in your community. There is no question that local events are an important component, too.

We are often asked by event planners and visiting media why Indianapolis is continually selected to host so many national and international events. Each time, the answer remains the same: our local volunteers. Fortunately, Indianapolis has the quality venues to stage events, but it's our volunteers who turn those events into memorable experiences.

That amount of money is pretty good for a small chapter like Covington County. But, it all goes back to the local contributors lending a helping hand to the needy.

I want to give the small businesses and local merchants better business strategies by teaching their workers how to improve customer service and promote a positive image in the workplace. By having the luncheon business owners and their employees won't lose a whole day of work.

Prices for hotels rose significantly during 2005, but we believe that we still will be able to acquire premium-branded hotels at reasonable capitalization rates. In attractive markets where hotels are selling in excess of replacement costs, we will consider development on a highly selective basis.

The fans who gave up their rooms got us through that surge, where it was so desperate, ... Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness. I think fans still should contact their hotels before coming. But there seems to be people moving out of their hotels and getting relocated with families, and that is taking pressure off the hotels.

If they increase the four or five hotels that they want to, then it will open up for many more jobs and the local people can stay here.
